Custom Framing

Even our simplest contemporary frames are hand milled and finished in house. We stock a range of moulding sizes from 3/8 - 3/4”, though can fabricate any face width or depth depending on your project.

Water, glue, clay, and gold. We use Pyramid Age hand-gilding methods to illuminate art and mirrors, bringing unmatched elegance and shine to our custom frames.

We are among a very small group of frame shops in New York City that fabricate welded frames in house. We offer aluminum and brass frames in a wide variety of finishes, from polished to patinated.

From ornate sgraffito to hand-carved flowers and everything in between, there is no job too ambitious for our master carver.

With a skilled team of builders, carvers, and hand-finishers, we can fabricate any frame you may be looking to replicate. We have over 350 custom profile knives that allow us to match any existing frame or period frame depending on your project.

Our team of experienced fitters evaluates each artwork to select the safest and strongest conservation hinging methods. We offer a variety of matting options to protect and highlight every piece, including 4-16ply and custom silk-wrapped mats.

We build custom pedestals and bases to display three-dimensional works and durable plexiglass boxes to keep them protected. For two-dimensional works that need to be seen from all sides, we can make wall-mounted plexi cases.

We offer round trip pick-up and delivery across Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens, and the Bronx for a flat rate fee. For all pick-ups and deliveries outside the aforementioned boroughs, please reach out to receive a custom quote.
We fabricate international and domestic crates to safely transport frames reaching beyond our delivery capacity.

Our onsite team is available for onsite fittings, repairs and consultations every Tuesday and Thursday. If you have a project that requires a preliminary site visit, please reach out to schedule an appointment.

Sometimes a work requires special attention and may not be a candidate for our standard in-studio framing process. If you have a work that you prefer we fit onsite, please reach out to discuss the options. Our onsite team is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Our photography studio is available for half day or full day rentals. If you would like to discuss booking the space, please reach out via email.
